OMS is Going to Washington D.C.!

Dear Parents,

We are very excited to announce that Mr. Kloepping and I will be leading a select group of students and parents on an educational tour to Washington, D.C. and Mt. Vernon on July 20-23, 2019. Together, we will embark on a journey taking us outside the classroom walls, where learning comes alive and lifelong memories are created.

For those that didn’t sign on to the trip last Spring, it’s not too late to join us! Students were given informational packets on Monday that they should have brought home to share with you.

There will be a short informational meeting to discuss this educational adventure and eat pizza on:

Thursday, October 18th at 6:00 pm in the Oostburg Middle School cafeteria

Enrolling in advance not only guarantees a reserved spot on the trip, but also makes us eligible for an Early Bird Scholarship of $200. Enroll before or on October 18th & save $200!

The tour’s logistics and awesome-ness will be handled by World Classrooms, an educational travel program. They will do everything possible to ensure we have a safe, well-organized, and fun experience. This same letter with additional details and an enrollment form can be found here. Please feel free to contact World Classrooms with trip enrollment questions at 800.275.3980, e-mail Mr. Kloepping at, or simply come to the informational meeting on the 18th.

We sincerely hope you will take advantage of this special opportunity to invest in your student’s future, and that you will consider joining us on this adventure as well!

Don’t miss out,
Mr. Barry Kloepping                                                 Mrs. Sherri Stengel
Social Studies & Reading                                         Principal, OMS

**If you are already enrolled from Spring, there is no need to come to this meeting.
