Information for the parents of high school students.

Good Thursday morning, Parents.

A few short “bits and pieces” of information for you this morning.
The first quarter is ending on Tuesday, November 6th, and teachers will submit their grades to our student services department by the end of the day on Wednesday, November 7th.  Those grades will then be processed, and we plan to open the Infinite Campus portal for Quarter 1 Report Cards on Monday, November 12th at 4:00 pm.  If you have any questions about how to access your children’s report cards, please feel free to contact either Jessica Dekker (920-564-2346 x4009) or Bryce DeRoos (920-564-2346 x4151).
The fall musical will have performances of Once upon a Mattress on November 8-10 at 7:00 pm each night.  There will also be an additional Saturday performance on November 10th at 3:00 pm.  Tickets can be purchased for $6.50 at    It is always fun to see our students in dramatic roles and quite often I find myself being surprised by their poise and presence on stage.
The Veteran’s Day Program on November 12th at 7:00 pm will be our first opportunity to see the OHS Band and Choir perform.  The program is held in the OHS gym and beyond the opportunity to see our musicians perform for the first time this school year, the program is also a great reminder of the incredible sacrifice our veterans have made for our benefit.
And finally, congratulations to our girls’ cross country team and Coach Rauwerdink on their impressive fifth place finish at the WIAA State Cross Country meet.  Six of the seven girls had personal best times on a very challenging course, and as a group they turned in an impressive team effort.  To finish the season with a sectional championship, and then back that up with even more progress at the State meet is an ideal way to end your season.  Congratulations on your successful season.  The future of your program looks very bright and exciting.
