A BIG “Congratulations” to the 48 Oostburg students who competed in the state level ROV competition on April 29. The Middle school team won 1st place and the High school team won 2nd place (narrowly missing 1st place by only 6 out 430 points). There was an incredible amount of problem-solving and teamwork under pressure! Thanks to the coaches, Mr. Hendrikse and Mr. Boenisch, and parent & community supporters.
The Parents’ Music Club is again generously donating money to be divided among high school and middle school (new this year) music students interested in attending a summer music camp. Students who apply for a scholarship must be in a performing group at school during the school year before the camp and the entire school year following the camp; and must have volunteered at least once with the Parents’ Music Club during the past school year (either the student or a parent). Applications due May 2. Please see application for more details.
