On Thursday, March 17th Mr. Michna held his 14th annual Kindergarten talent show. Each child participated and demonstrated one of their talents to the audience. Some of these skills included reading, biking, gymnastics, and telling jokes. The students practiced their talent several times before the performance. They worked very hard and had a great show!
OMS 8th graders are reading Fahrenheit 451, a book from the 1950s in which Ray Bradbury was writing about a time in the future. He wrote about the main character having three “parlor walls” of interactive TVs, and the wife wanting a fourth wall. Students are immersing themselves in this “futuristic” setting in our Innovation Room and discussing the characters’ points of view in this environment. This is the ultimate reality show!
