Just like with my Christmas shopping, I waited until the last possible minute to get out my last blog of 2014. You would think that as I get older, I would get wiser!
On a serious note, I want to wish each and every family a very Merry Christmas and that 2015 brings you much health and happiness. Thank you for the opportunity to serve the community, especially your children. The staff and students have been working diligently to meet learning targets within the classrooms and to meet our larger school-wide goal of reading growth in every child. With the district wide-focus on preparing students to be college and career ready when they graduate, the middle school years are critical. Thank you for supporting us as we strive to maximize learning in every child.
With hard work, comes relaxation. Hopefully the next week and a half will give parents, staff, and students the opportunity to enjoy family and recuperate so we all come back in 2015 rejuvenated and ready to learn some more.
Many blessings to each of you!
