The scheduling process for next year is nearly complete. Students requested classes in early March, and since then Mrs. Dekker has been working to build our master schedule and each student’s course schedule for next year. This week Mrs. Dekker will share class rosters with our teachers, and the teachers will check them for any potential placement errors. On the Monday of the last week of school, June 5th, students will be getting their schedules for next year. The timing of this process is quite intentional because providing students their schedules before the school year ends gives them the final week of school, and our in-service week from August 28-31, to make any changes necessary. Our add/drop process ends before first day of school, so we can be productive and get our courses started without interruptions. Parents, please talk to your children and let them know if they need schedule changes to meet with Mr. Cole during one of these two weeks designated for course/schedule changes.
Good morning, Parents.
Another timeline that may be of interest to parents is when final grades will be posted and transcripts will be available. Most of our teachers will complete their grades the afternoon of our last day of school, June 8th, because that day is an early release for that purpose. If for some reason some of the teachers need more time to complete the grading process, they will complete the process and submit their grades to the guidance office by the end of the weekend. Beginning on Monday, June 12th, the guidance office will begin processing grades and transcripts. This process will be complete within 2-3 days. After June 15th, we will have final grades and transcripts available on Infinite Campus. For the seniors/graduates, if Mr. Cole is aware of where you will be attending next year, your final grade report and transcript will be automatically sent to that institution.
If you have any questions about grades, transcripts, or next year’s schedule, please let me know.
Have a great week, and enjoy the Memorial Day Weekend.
