During daily WIN time, groups of grade 5 students have been delving into coding and sequencing with the cutest little robots you ever did see. Using five apps from Wonder Workshop, these budding computer programmers were able to manipulate their Dash and Dot robots to perform certain actions and respond to environmental cues. Check out some photos from their “showcase” days, where groups were challenged to make their robot duo work through a “maze” of their own design. It contained various obstacles and accessories to both help and hinder their journey. These kids LOVED this STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) opportunity and look forward to further enrichment opportunities.
