Reading to students, offering homework help, supervising the playground, or offering time with special events are just some of the ways that parents and community members assist the school. Thank you for your service.

Various fundraising opportunities take place throughout the year in each school to help generate financial support for special projects or initiatives. Please keep a lookout for these events through regular district communication.

The Parent Teacher Organization is a group of parents working together to assist the teachers and children of our schools with services/funding that might not otherwise be available to them. Please visit their Facebook page for more information

Oostburg Community Education Foundation’s goal is to complement the programs of Oostburg area schools through private funding. Visit their Facebook page for more information!

The Oostburg Athletic Association provides and supports athletic activities for the Oostburg area’s K- 8th grade youth, offering resources and facilities needed to participate in sports. They provide financial contributions, time, commitment, and positive leadership.

Business Partnerships

Community Connections

OSD has a long-standing relationships with our local business community. As members of the Oostburg Area Chamber of Commerce, our District partners with local businesses working to ensure that Oostburg continues to grow as a great place to learn, work, and raise a family. We appreciate the strong support provided by businesses large and small. The Oostburg community is truly unique in the number and variety of small and medium sized businesses. Our District mission to prepare students to be positive and productive contributors to society and the world depends on our business partners and we thank them for the role they play in making Oostburg a great school district.

OSD and Prevea Health Care have partnered with Oostburg Concrete Products to bring a new clinic to the Community of Oostburg. We are pleased to join in this unique endeavor which represents one of the first school, business, health care collaborations in the state.  This partnership not only brings a top quality health care facility to our community but also provides efficient care to the staff at Oostburg Schools allowing us to offer a model with excellent service at affordable costs.  Special thanks to Mr. Gordy Veldboom, owner of Oostburg Concrete Products, for his leadership and perseverance in making this community clinic partnership a reality.
